Two "W's" of the Bible

Being a writer, researcher, and a baby Christian, I was excited to have pounced upon two simple "W" directives from the Bible, not to mean I've read the whole Bible -- far from it -- just that these two things "called" to me.

"Watch!"

Mark 13:37
King James Version
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all,
Watch.

"Worship God!"

Revelation 22:9
King James Version
9 Then saith he unto me,
See thou do it not:
for I am thy fellowservant,
and of thy brethren the prophets,
and of them which keep the sayings of this book:
worship God.

Revelation 19:10
King James Version
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him.
And he said unto me,
See thou do it not:
I am thy fellowservant,
and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:
worship God
for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Holy Spirit knows I like to learn simply so the lessons will stick.

I keep my own learning simple and yet precise.

It's always good for baby Christians to help each other and stick to the basics.

God's Love in Seven Powerful Verses

I had no idea the Bible was so beautiful.

As a baby Christian and just beginning to read the Bible days ago, six (6) verses called to me, showing how much God loved us, making me cry, too.

One was Genesis 3:21 NIV:

"The LORD God made garments of skin
for Adam and his wife and clothed them."

God clothed the fallen couple who became ashamed of their nakedness.

They had disobeyed His Commands that they not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, making them lose their innocence forever.

Eve was tempted by the serpent, with Adam following suit from Eve's promptings, turning the wheel of destiny for man.

I was so touched by God's gesture, like a loving Father, making garments for His fallen children, even as He had to let them go.

I can imagine Him making that garment, even as His Heart was sad for the sinful couple.

Another verse that touched my heart so, was when Christ says in John 14:14 NIV:

"You may ask me for anything in my name,
and I will do it."

Again, that touches my heart and causes me to tears because I can feel Christ's love, humility, and promise.

How our Savior could do all that for us, as if we sinful people are worth it, considering what God said in Genesis 8:21 about "every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood" (see previous post).

How the Father and the Son love us so!

Proof of that was in John 3:16 NIV:

"For God so loved the world,
that He gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish
but have eternal life."

May we all be worth it.

We were even offered salvation through the verse in John 14:6 NIV:

Jesus answered,
"I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me."

We can also enter the kingdom of God by being "born again" wherein Jesus explains to Nicodemus in John 3:3 NIV:

"Truly, truly I say to you,
unless one is born again
he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Christ says we must be "born of water and the Spirit" in John 3:5 NIV.

"Jesus answered,
Very truly I tell you, n
o one can enter the kingdom of God
unless they are born of water and the Spirit."

I also learned from 1 Peter 3:18 how Christ suffered for our sins:

"For Christ also suffered once for sins,
the righteous for the unrighteous,
to bring you to God.
He was put to death in the body
but made alive in the Spirit."

These are seven (7) essential verses for any baby Christian to know and to keep in our hearts.

When you love God, you will do anything to know more about His Word, for His Words are perfect, beautiful, and full of love.

On Restoring the Lost Years

What a beautiful and well-read video on the lost years which the "locust have eaten".

This was my first encounter with Charles Spurgeon, a week ago, who I learned was largely influential with most pastors and ministers of Christ.

Being a baby Christian, the Holy Spirit led me to this particular video -- so very well-read in easy, gentle, measured tones -- unlike other Spurgeon sermons that were read by others.

So I will only feature this video for now for it also speaks of how we can all restore our strength and energy through God.

Without God, we cannot have the strength we need.

Spurgeon spoke of the "locust-eaten years of sin" and to "rend" our hearts to God.

Learning to be a Christian keeps your heart soft and humble, acknowledging our sinfulness, and opening our hearts to true learning.

I learned in Genesis 8:21, of which a portion God says:

"...every inclination of the human heart
is evil from childhood."

That particular phrase really struck my heart of how we are all so fallible.

Find new strength in this lovely sermon of Charles Spurgeon, which I was so happy to have been led to and re-discover the grace to go through life and whatever hardships or challenges may come our way.

Here is the Joel 2:25 verse which was the source of his sermon:

I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm—
my great army that I sent among you."

Chuck Missler on "How to Avoid Deception"

I don't only write for readers.

I also created this "Prophecy Lessons" blog for myself, wherein it could be my online reference -- my "online notebook" -- which I could refer to again and again so I could further my Jesus and Bible studies.

It's also a way to chart my own soul's progress and understanding for these are very dangerous times.

2 Corinthians 11:13 comes to mind:

13 For such people are false apostles,
deceitful workers,
masquerading as apostles of Christ.

Similarly, I found another important verse in Jeremiah 9:6:

6 You live in the midst of deception;
in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me,"
declares the LORD.

Dr. Chuck Missler says you can use that waiting time at a doctor's appointment to "knock off" a chapter from the Bible.

That's surely time well-spent in Christ.

He also reveals "Attributes of the Holy Word of God" with particular emphasis on putting God's Word on a "pedestal".

You will love the video above as Dr. Missler gives us the tools necessary to identify and fight the unholy ways of the deceivers.

Christ is our Savior.

Acts 4:12 says so:

"And there is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven
that has been given among men
by which we must be saved."

The Awesome Bible

I've been learning to love the Bible since 6 September 2019, but today, I love it even more because I desire to know EVERYTHING about God through Jesus.

There are 66 books in the Bible and obviously I have a long way to go.

But I've studied all my life, so I have the heart, patience, and perseverance to do so.

After so many books I've bought, studied, and sold, it's time I focused on the Bible alone.

In the video above, I found Chuck Missler's declaration particularly intriguing:

"The New Testament
is in the Old Testament concealed;
The Old Testament
is in the New Testament revealed."

He also says the Bible is a "supernatural creation".

There's that "supernatural" word again which I've heard Dr. David R. Reagan speak of in many of his videos, as well as with other ministers you'll find on this blog.

The late pastor Missler urges us to face two challenges right now:

1. Find out what the Bible says.
2. Find out what is really going on.

We can't just live without meaning.

We must know what's really happening in us, around us, and how it all ties up with the Bible for the Word of God has all the answers.

Apart from the word "supernatural", I was also intrigued at pastor Missler's use of the word "convergence" which Dr. Reagan has also used in many of his videos.

Something is definitely going on and it's time we all read the Bible and become born again in Christ for He is our Salvation.

For my part, I remind myself of this lovely verse from Christ from John 10:30 NIV:

30 I and the Father are one.”

Things To Get Rid of In Your House Right Now

Beginners studying Bible Prophecy must know what we are fighting against.

I've always known there was "spiritual warfare" in this world so I've been doing a lot of research about these forces, even before becoming a Christian.

The primary force is the one in the "unseen" for it is always out to ambush and their ways are insidious -- you won't even know you've been ambushed or it's eating up at your soul until it's too late.

Mercifully, God gets to us in time, especially if our hearts are open to loving Him.

That's why I was thrilled to discover this 10-minute video wherein Jan Markell says in the introduction, "The paranormal is the new normal."

In another post, we also mentioned about the "Armor of God" and the entities we are really fighting which is best described in this particular verse:

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers,
against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world
and against the spiritual forces of evil
in the heavenly realms."

Ephesians 6:12

Having done a lot of research about how the lords of the earth have been manipulating the souls of humans, I was excited to share this video with you for now is the time to set things right in your heart with Jesus, the True Lord and Savior.

We have all been much deceived -- mightily -- but then again, it's never too late if we all act fast and throw and destroy things not of God.

The Only One who can really save us is Christ so we must catch on triple time and start reading God's Words through the Bible.

Can anything ever beat Jesus and the Word of God?

I don't think so.

I'm glad I got to know that on time.

Putting on the "Armor of God"

Do you believe there's spiritual warfare going on in the world?

But do you know there's real HELP from GOD?

Scripture will tell you all you need to know:

The Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-18 (King James Version)
10 Finally, my brethren,
be strong in the Lord
and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities,
against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all,
to stand.
14 Stand therefore,
having your loins girt about with truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all,
taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

On "Prophecy Derangement Syndrome"

End times pastors and ministers are getting a lot of flak and are being mocked right and left by their detractors.

But I feel that the more they are being given a hard time and called deranged or delusional, the greater their inroads, even if it seems otherwise.

If there was no real battle for the souls, why would they and Jesus be attacked so?

I like the introduction to this video which says:

"The teaching of prophecy is at an all-time low
which at a time most activities are happening."

It takes real courage to be a messenger but authentic pastors and ministers have the Gospel as their ONLY reference for the end times.

Pastors Jan Markell and Brandon Holthaus quote the following important verse of what's happening right now:

Above all, you must understand that in the last days
scoffers will come,
scoffing and following their own evil desires.
They will say,
“Where is this ‘coming’ he promised?
Ever since our ancestors died,
everything goes on as it has
since the beginning of creation.

2 Peter 3: 3-4 NIV

I feel it's a real battle for I've had dreams of such and my coming into Bible Prophecy 11 days ago was most timely for me.

Let everyone mock but only Christ can save us now.

It's really time to make a stand for yourself.

I have.

On Being Victorious In Jesus

Do you believe there is victory in Christ?

Watch Dr. David R. Reagan's lovely video above and you will know so.

I also researched a few Bible verses that point to Christ's Victory over that which is not of God.

Deuteronomy 20:4
King James Version
4 For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you,
to fight for you against your enemies,
to save you.

John 16:33
King James Version
33 These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.

Romans 8:37
King James Version
37 Nay,
in all these things
we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.

1 Corinthians 15:57
King James Version
57 But thanks be to God,
which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14
King James Version
14 Now thanks be unto God,
which always causeth us to triumph in Christ,
and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge
by us in every place.

Philippians 4:13
King James Version
13 I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.

Hebrews 2:14
King James Version
14 Forasmuch then as the children
are partakers of flesh and blood,
he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him
that had the power of death,
that is, the devil;

1 John 5:4
King James Version
4 For whatsoever is born of God
overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith.

Mike Gendron's "Christ Alone"

Another colleague of Dr. David R. Reagan who I liked learning from was Mike Gendron, a former Catholic.

You will appreciate his gentle tone which speaks many things my heart questions about my own Catholic faith, too.

Pastor Gendron says:

"The Gospel is about Christ alone."

Perhaps, if people's ego would be set aside and if they really love Christ in full, they will give the Savior proper respect, love, and homage.

Having grown up Catholic, I am not here to put down my former church, even as I look wonderingly at the ostentation in it, starting with the Vatican.

If Christ drove the merchants from His Father's Temple, why does the Vatican have a bank and a treasure-rich museum?

Why the commercialization of "indulgences" or the creation of it at all?

Why are Catholic priests dressed in quality vestments when Christ, I believe, merely walked in all simplicity?

I've even encountered many women ("handmaidens") who would create such vestments for the priests and would even guard the priests jealously like when one time I requested for a copy of the sermon.

It's like these women were the "gate keepers" to the priests.

I think that's one of the reasons why I preferred to pray directly to God and not be part of too much ritual or ostentation.

I really wanted to savor the Word of God and not be distracted from it.

All these concern my heart as I feel Christ lived so simply and was merely focused on showing us how to love His Father.

Of course, I am but a beginner in learning more about Christ. I only speak of what I've personally observed or experienced in my own church.

I think, all pastors and priests supremely devoted to Christ will only focus on Him and not on themselves.

The Message is more important than the messenger.

That's why my favorite passage is:

"He must become greater;
I must become less."

John 3:30 NIV

"Promises and Betrayals" Regarding Britain and the Holy Land

Through Dr. David R. Reagan's many videos showing his love for Israel -- being God's Chosen Nation -- I began to look more into the Holy Land, too.

They say to separate the state from religion and vice-versa but I don't believe people really do that.

I live in the Philippines, a developing country, and I've observed political aspirants pay "homage" to religious institutions, perhaps to receive favor and possibly to get votes from the various church's large assemblies.

I cringe every time they do that, for they have politicized the cause of God and so I feel the end times are near for there is no more respect for Christ.

Also, I've always been interested in world events since I was 14 years old as a second year high school student.

I particularly loved the subject "Social Studies" where we we would receive the weekly mini-newspaper called, "Current Events Digest".

I've always been intrigued by the dynamics among nations and how nations are shaped through benevolent or tyrannical leaders, what more in the case of Israel.

All that being said, I was led by God early this morning to the illuminating 52-minute video above which reviews and reveals the British "double-dealing" during the First World War.

It also showed the conflicting promises the British Empire had with the Arabs and the Jews.

All these tie up with Dr. Reagan's own video and book on "Israel in Bible Prophecy: Past, Present & Future".

I think it's important to know more about the history of Israel and find out why she has suffered so.

God will always fulfill His Prophecies so it's a lost cause whoever's hindering Israel from achieving that.

Jan Markell Speaks on the Mockery of Bible Prophecy

I first learned about Jan Markell, through Dr. David R. Reagan's videos.

He calls her a "Messianic Jew".

On the video above, she speaks passionately about the attacks on their ministry because the end times haven't happened yet.

There will always be the hecklers, the doubters and skeptics, the bored, the plain evil, and rarely are those who really care to know what Christ is all about.

The enemy's idea is to keep everyone in the dark.

We live in a materialistic world which has been taken over by that which is not of God, and now that end times is near (I feel that, too), those entities are working quadruple time that we don't get back to Christ in time.

It's really a battle for the souls.

Before I got into Bible Prophecy nine days ago, I've been researching on how such entities, corporations, institutions, and organizations have been taking over our lives and souls.

It is those insidious ambushes and attacks we really need to be aware of.

It's like cancer eating up at our soul and we're not even aware of it.

Jan Markell, Dr. Reagan, and their colleagues are here to sound the alarm -- not to alarm us -- but to wake us up.

Still, we concerned groups and individuals, face much adversity -- but not as much as Christ had.

I found that very few people are aware or would want to be aware, for they are too involved in the materialism of life.

Also, most people are afraid.

And that's why I welcome Dr. Reagan, Jan Markell, and a few of their colleagues so I can learn more about Bible Prophecy and share it here.

Do you believe the end times are near?

I do.

That's why I created this blog.

It's always a good time today to know more about Christ and His Plan for our Salvation so I intend to listen and learn every step of the way.

My life is in God's Hands alone.

Dr. David R. Reagan's "A Prophetic Manifesto"

I first got interested in Bible Prophecy after listening to Dr. David R. Reagan on the evening of 6 September 2019.

It was two videos depicting the rebellion of America -- so very ripe for the end times and the "imminent" return of Jesus.

After listening to those videos and viewing Dr. Reagan's other videos, I finally realized how important it was to embrace Christ in full as my personal Savior and Guide through His Gospel.

You just know a life-changing and soul-changing thing when you see or hear it, thus I personally continued forward and looked into Bible Prophecy more.

I also loved these two videos below wherein Dr. Reagan wrote a simple but profound slim volume called "A Prophetic Manifesto".

These two other videos continue where the other earlier videos on America left off.

Dr. Reagan's prophetic manifesto is divided into two parts:

1. "The Condition and Fate of Our Nation".

2. "The Condition of the Church".

If your heart is open you will love how Dr. Reagan teaches us. I found him of great value to me and hopefully to the rest of you new in Bible Prophecy -- thus, the creation of this blog.

Bible Passages Most Often Ignored or Disobeyed

It's quite difficult being human and not remember our divinity.

We are often subject to the forces within ourselves and outside ourselves where a real "battle" is going on.

The moment you profess your love for Christ, you can expect such challenges, distractions, and distortions to quadruple for your soul is sought by those not of God.

I often pray for the gift of "discernment" -- to be able to differentiate that which is of God and that which is not.

Thank God, I have a Bible teacher-friend who shared his thoughts below as he spoke of the Bible Truths and Passages frequently ignored or disobeyed:

There’s only one purpose why Jesus, the God-Man, put aside his divinity in order to be the ultimate sacrifice to die and pay for our sins. He was the only one qualified because He was the only one sinless!

For the Son of Man came to seek
and to save the lost.”

Luke 19:10 NIV

As God’s children, we must work as collaborators to this primary mission of Jesus. This is achieved by sharing the Gospel that others may be Saved also.

Jesus is the only way to God, no exceptions!

Jesus answered,
‘I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you really know me,
you will know my Father as well.
From now on,
you do know him and have seen him.’”

John 14:6-7 NIV

For there is one God
and one mediator between God and mankind,
the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all people.
This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.”

1 Timothy 2:5-6 NIV

These truths or passages are the most frequently ignored or disobeyed.

For many, God’s Word is not enough and they formulate man-made dogmas and traditions.

What do people not understand with the phrase, “except through me”, and “one mediator between God and mankind”? That’s how man made religions are, they make their own “rules” and traditions in order to overrule God’s commands!

Spiritual pride is not submitting to God and His commands. That’s arrogance and disobedience. They give all kinds of excuses and faulty reasoning that may not only be unbiblical but anti biblical.

He must become greater;
I must become less.”
The one who comes from above is above all;
the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth,
and speaks as one from the earth.
The one who comes from heaven is above all.”

John 3:30-31 NIV
