The Most Intriguing Words of Jesus For Me

Matthew 24:39-42
King James Version
39 And knew not until the flood came,
and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field;
the one shall be taken,
 and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
42 Watch therefore:
for ye know not
what hour your Lord doth come.

As a baby Christian, I found the above verses the most intriguing of all of Jesus' words.

Because JESUS' words seemed urgent, and imminent.

As if everything -- what was to come after -- hinged on this FIRST occurrence (what theologians call the "Rapture"), for by then, all who will be left behind will go through the horrible seven-year Tribulation.

And thus, there is no time to waste.

We must repent, if we wish to be taken up to Jesus, and avoid that Tribulation.

Matthew 4:17
King James Version
17 From that time
Jesus began to preach,
and to say,
Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven
is at hand.

The significance of JESUS' words probably hasn't sunk in yet for many people.

Imagine this:

You are cooking food for your family, then all of a sudden, one, or two of you, disappear -- just like that.

Or, you're driving a vehicle, or piloting a plane, and people -- either driver or passenger -- start disappearing.

Or, you're holding your baby, and suddenly, your baby disappears.

Can you imagine the scenario in hospitals, or air traffic control towers?

Or even just on the highways.

There have been books and movies made of this scenario.

It is not just a possible scenario.

It is the scenario Jesus said so Himself:

"the one shall be taken,
and the other left"

No one knows the hour of His Coming.

No one knows who will be taken, and who will be left, except GOD.

So, what makes us think that all the wealth we accumulate now, would ever matter?

What makes us think that worldly bickerings matter at all?

It is foolish to hoard, or to be selfish.

It is foolish to be angry, or to be vengeful.

It is foolish to have the world at your feet, and have everyone adore you.

It is foolish to keep sinning.

At any given moment -- in the twinkling of an eye -- each one of us can be gone.

Somehow, I can't even look farther than that moment of Jesus' prophecy.

The fact that one of us would disappear -- at God's choosing -- is truly an eye-opener for me.

Jesus had many warnings of things to come, but many people are asleep, addicted to the things of the world.

We already know who keeps us asleep at the wheel.

We already know who wants us unprepared, for when Christ comes for us.

These dark forces have been mocking Bible prophecy since time immemorial.

People don't light the lamps of their hearts anymore, and are distracted by things of the world.

But, what if, at that exact moment, someone you love or care for, is taken up to Christ?

Surely, you can imagine the chaos, grief, and disaster that would ensue when people are busy at work or at home, and suddenly, God says, "It's time!", and the trumpet is sounded:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version
16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

That is the prophecy.

We have this moment, this hour, this minute, to start paying attention.

Here's what we can do right now:

Study God's Word.
Let Jesus be our guide.

Focus not on how the world is progressing, for in truth, it is regressing.

Salvation is a personal matter, between you and God alone.

You must care enough about your soul, wanting to be with God for eternity.

If you care about others, you'd want them to be with God, too.

It's really very simple, and humbling.

Romans 3:23
King James Version
23 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;

How many acknowledge their sinfulness, and care to truly repent?

Is this finite life more delightful, than eternal life promised by Christ?

John 3:16
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

Whatever little, puny power, possessions, or prestige we have, matters not in the kingdom of God.

All that matters is if we have accepted Christ in our hearts, by becoming born again.

Its the only way to understand the Gospel of Jesus, for the Holy SPIRIT of God will start instructing us.

In this season of the end times, stay CLOSEST to JESUS.

There is no other HOPE, but JESUS.

Titus 2:13
King James Version
13 Looking for that blessed hope,
and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ;

Nothing matters but CHRIST now.

John MacArthur's "Blueprint for Being Born Again"

3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,
and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:3-8
King James Version

Those are Jesus' very own words about what we need to see the kingdom of God.

Spirit also led me to the wonderful John MacArthur video above, on what it means to be a born again Christian.

Finally, you get to know what it means to be one, how you are transformed from thereon, and the points of focus if you are to really love and worship God.

All of Jesus' ministry has always focused on our loving His Father.

I created this blog purposely to document my own findings and path, and the many treasures I discovered along the way.

As John MacArthur says:

"Profession, without possession."

Listen to the video as pastor MacArthur explains things in his usual, clear, and unapologetic manner.

When you live by Scripture, you will be happily transformed, sitting at Jesus' feet, listening to Him with all your heart and being, absorbing all of His teachings, and eager to do His Will alone.

No other path can be more beautiful.

I don't know about you but it was my time to become born again on 6 September 2019. All my life had been preparation for that moment.

After which, I ended one blog, and created the one you're reading now.

God also led me to read the Bible -- His Book.

From which, I took down notes, and have many notebooks and index cards of my findings, which eventually led to my writing short fiction books on 24 November 2019.

It became my foundation for my books and all my thoughts and work now.

My 22 books on spiritual warfare -- written in a remarkable, intensive period of 36 days -- can all be now found on Amazon.

I don't know how I did it, I merely did it -- as prompted by the Holy Spirit each day.

That's what being born again did to me.

If you choose to serve God, He will work with you in a way He had originally designed.

May you seek God with all your heart, too, and let Him shower you with His Grace.

In this season of the end times, it is time to re-connect with God in a way He had always wanted to.

By ourselves we know nothing.

Only God makes us something.

There is Only One FATHER

8 But be not ye called Rabbi:
for one is your Master,
even Christ;
and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master,
even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matthew 23:8-12
King James Version

Those were JESUS' very own words about how the scribes and Pharisees were such hypocrites, and now, their kind lives on -- forever distorting the TRUTH of God and His beloved SON.

Everything's really so devious, and unless you really study the Bible, and commit it to heart, you lose the essence of it, subject to the distortions of modern-day world.

We call the pope, "Father"; worse yet, we call him "Holy Father", a title only reserved to God, the one, true FATHER.

They also call the pope, "Vicar".

Won't these abominations to God ever stop?

How can priests, supposedly students of theology when they were seminarians, have allowed this untruth to be continuously fed, accepted, and propagated?

How can people even kiss the ring of the pope, when Christ Himself washed his apostles' feet?

How deluded we have been in the Roman Catholic tradition.

How the dark forces have come upon man and distorted his thinking for so long.

It is time God's SCRIPTURE be our ONLY reference for TRUTH.

We have erred so much about Jesus, even as He had clearly instructed us during His brief ministry.

I've purposely written those 22 books on spiritual warfare because people are not aware who is ruler of earth, and of how this fallen angel has corrupted us all.

Now that I've been reading the Bible, and getting to know CHRIST's own Words, I am appalled at the many distortions against His SPIRIT.

It is not surprising, for the world is not of God.

"Be sober,
be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion,
walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:"

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

There was nothing pompous about Jesus.

He lived simply, but taught firmly.

And He always asked that we worship His FATHER alone.

That's why Jesus knew that His TRUTH will divide homes and families.

"The father shall be divided against the son,
and the son against the father;
the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

Luke 12:53 (KJV)

It's 2020 now.

It's time to wake up, before it's too late.

JESUS said the unpardonable sin is against the Holy SPIRIT -- the teacher of all things.

"Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy
shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
shall not be forgiven unto men."

Matthew 12:31 (KJV)

It is time to read Scripture and get things right in our heart.

I've been a born-again Christian for nearly four months now, and my life, work, and thinking have completely changed, all because of the Bible -- how beautiful and exact this BOOK of GOD is.

I had searched for this truth all my life, and by the GRACE of GOD, I've finally found it.

It is not by good works we shall be saved.

It is only by grace, through faith, and by GOD alone.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

How God hates idolatry.

Humans have idolized many gods, humans, and graven images.

It is time we worshiped GOD, the Creator, alone.

2 I am the Lord thy God,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them,
nor serve them:
for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation
of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands
of them that love me,
and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:2-6 (KJV)

All who love God, please take heed.
