There is Only One FATHER

8 But be not ye called Rabbi:
for one is your Master,
even Christ;
and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master,
even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matthew 23:8-12
King James Version

Those were JESUS' very own words about how the scribes and Pharisees were such hypocrites, and now, their kind lives on -- forever distorting the TRUTH of God and His beloved SON.

Everything's really so devious, and unless you really study the Bible, and commit it to heart, you lose the essence of it, subject to the distortions of modern-day world.

We call the pope, "Father"; worse yet, we call him "Holy Father", a title only reserved to God, the one, true FATHER.

They also call the pope, "Vicar".

Won't these abominations to God ever stop?

How can priests, supposedly students of theology when they were seminarians, have allowed this untruth to be continuously fed, accepted, and propagated?

How can people even kiss the ring of the pope, when Christ Himself washed his apostles' feet?

How deluded we have been in the Roman Catholic tradition.

How the dark forces have come upon man and distorted his thinking for so long.

It is time God's SCRIPTURE be our ONLY reference for TRUTH.

We have erred so much about Jesus, even as He had clearly instructed us during His brief ministry.

I've purposely written those 22 books on spiritual warfare because people are not aware who is ruler of earth, and of how this fallen angel has corrupted us all.

Now that I've been reading the Bible, and getting to know CHRIST's own Words, I am appalled at the many distortions against His SPIRIT.

It is not surprising, for the world is not of God.

"Be sober,
be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion,
walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:"

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

There was nothing pompous about Jesus.

He lived simply, but taught firmly.

And He always asked that we worship His FATHER alone.

That's why Jesus knew that His TRUTH will divide homes and families.

"The father shall be divided against the son,
and the son against the father;
the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

Luke 12:53 (KJV)

It's 2020 now.

It's time to wake up, before it's too late.

JESUS said the unpardonable sin is against the Holy SPIRIT -- the teacher of all things.

"Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy
shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
shall not be forgiven unto men."

Matthew 12:31 (KJV)

It is time to read Scripture and get things right in our heart.

I've been a born-again Christian for nearly four months now, and my life, work, and thinking have completely changed, all because of the Bible -- how beautiful and exact this BOOK of GOD is.

I had searched for this truth all my life, and by the GRACE of GOD, I've finally found it.

It is not by good works we shall be saved.

It is only by grace, through faith, and by GOD alone.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

How God hates idolatry.

Humans have idolized many gods, humans, and graven images.

It is time we worshiped GOD, the Creator, alone.

2 I am the Lord thy God,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them,
nor serve them:
for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation
of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands
of them that love me,
and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:2-6 (KJV)

All who love God, please take heed.

"Saved By Grace, Not By Good Works"

How the Bible corrects us so!

Many Roman Catholics think that by doing good works they can be saved.

But that's how their church has led them to believe, based on their catechism.

Biblical Christians, those who are faithful to God's Word, learn differently.

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this is not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God—
9 not by works,
so that no one can boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

That verse (and the title of this post) is constantly used by Mike Gendron in correcting Roman Catholics, of which I once was, as Mike Gendron was once, too.

How humbling to be corrected by the Bible, the Word of God!

20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight
by the works of the law;
rather,
through the law we become conscious of our sin.

Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God
has been made known,
to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ
to all who believe
There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 and all are justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:20-24 NIV

Another verse, proof of God's Grace, to enlighten us:

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory,
the glory of the one and only Son,
who came from the Father,
full of grace and truth.

John 1:4  NIV

This is also how we can strengthen our hearts in God:

9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings.
It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace
not by eating ceremonial foods,
which is of no benefit to those who do so.

Hebrews 13:9 NIV

Scripture really has much to teach us.

Please open your heart to God's True Teachings from the Bible.

An Urgent Message For Roman Catholics

To be unpopular is a given when you serve Christ:

Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you
and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.

Luke 6:22 NIV

You can imagine the reaction and anger you will be getting from Roman Catholics when you share Mike Gendron's video above, "Roman Catholics Worship a Counterfeit Christ and Gospel While Denying 'Christ Alone'" as featured by Christian Answers TV (CAnswers TV).

But does it really matter?

If you are a Roman Catholic or from another religion, you must view the video above and see how seriously the Gospel of Jesus has been perverted and must review your own doctrines and traditions as well.

I am all for that which is totally of Christ in His Grace and Precision.

The material below, provided by Larry Wessels of CAnswers TV, was totally sourced from the introduction of the YouTube video above.

For centuries the Roman Catholic religion said a person could not own a Bible & if they did they could not have their sins forgiven. One reason for this is the simple fact that Roman Catholicism does not teach what the Bible teaches. The Bible actually exposes Romanism as a counterfeit religion pretending to be authentic Christianity (2Cor. 11:4). For over 34 years, Evangelist Mike Gendron was a devout Roman Catholic and a strong defender of the "one true church." He was taught from a very early age, to trust and rely on the church, its priests, the sacraments and his own good works for salvation. However in 1981 while attending an evangelical seminar, he realized the Bible is the supreme authority for knowing truth. His new excitement and hunger for the inspired word of God led him to help organize the very first Scripture Study at a Catholic Church in Dallas. Mike soon realized that many of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic religion were not found in the Bible. After more study he discovered the Roman Catholic plan of salvation was diametrically opposed to the Gospel of grace revealed in the Bible. Savior. After discerning that God seeks worshipers in spirit and truth, Mike left the Catholic Church in 1985 for a church where the true Gospel is proclaimed and Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

In 1988 he left a successful career in corporate management to study at Dallas Theological Seminary. Four years later, during his last semester at DTS, Mike and his wife Jane's love for Catholics inspired them to begin a ministry that would point Catholics to the Lord Jesus Christ as their all sufficient Savior. Their hearts are now burdened for those who may be where they were for most of their life - eternally condemned and not even aware of it. Contact: Mike@ProclaimingTheGospel.org

Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone because all of our righteous deeds are tainted by sin (Isaiah64:6) and are not good enough for us to merit salvation. Therefore, because there is nothing we can do to obtain it, there's only one thing left for us to do, trust in what God has done in the person and work of Jesus.

Salvation is being delivered, being "saved," from the righteous judgment of God. All of us have sinned (Romans 3:23) and are under a legal judgment from God. Therefore, in order to be saved from God's righteous judgment we need to be saved by what God has provided for us in the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.  That is the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

God is the standard of righteousness, not us. God says to be holy because he is only (1 Peter 1:16). This means that the standard is the character of God.  Holiness is the quality of God that is synonymous with his perfection, his sinlessness, and his inability to sin. He is perfect and righteous in every thought and every deed. His holiness is a quality of his essence a powerful and pervasive presence of incredible purity. This is the standard that God wants for us because it reflects his greatness and perfection. But because we fall short in our sins, we are not holy. Therefore, because everything we do is touched by sin, we are not able to accomplish what is necessary in order to be saved from the righteous judgment of God. God knows this, and so he provided for us a means of salvation. That means is through the incarnation of Jesus who is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9), who never sinned (1 Peter 2:22), and who bore our sin in his body and the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Remember that sin is a legal debt. Our legal debts were transferred to Christ and canceled on the cross (Colossians2:14).  Jesus did it all.  Therefore, all we have left is our faith in what God does. This is why the Bible says we are justified by faith (Romans5:1) apart from the works of the law (Romans 3:28).

So, faith alone in Christ alone is the only way to be saved because that is the only way to put complete and total trust in the work of God and not in our ability to be good enough to achieve or maintain our salvation.

We featured Mike Gendron in a past post.

Mike Gendron's "Christ Alone"

Another colleague of Dr. David R. Reagan who I liked learning from was Mike Gendron, a former Catholic.

You will appreciate his gentle tone which speaks many things my heart questions about my own Catholic faith, too.

Pastor Gendron says:

"The Gospel is about Christ alone."

Perhaps, if people's ego would be set aside and if they really love Christ in full, they will give the Savior proper respect, love, and homage.

Having grown up Catholic, I am not here to put down my former church, even as I look wonderingly at the ostentation in it, starting with the Vatican.

If Christ drove the merchants from His Father's Temple, why does the Vatican have a bank and a treasure-rich museum?

Why the commercialization of "indulgences" or the creation of it at all?

Why are Catholic priests dressed in quality vestments when Christ, I believe, merely walked in all simplicity?

I've even encountered many women ("handmaidens") who would create such vestments for the priests and would even guard the priests jealously like when one time I requested for a copy of the sermon.

It's like these women were the "gate keepers" to the priests.

I think that's one of the reasons why I preferred to pray directly to God and not be part of too much ritual or ostentation.

I really wanted to savor the Word of God and not be distracted from it.

All these concern my heart as I feel Christ lived so simply and was merely focused on showing us how to love His Father.

Of course, I am but a beginner in learning more about Christ. I only speak of what I've personally observed or experienced in my own church.

I think, all pastors and priests supremely devoted to Christ will only focus on Him and not on themselves.

The Message is more important than the messenger.

That's why my favorite passage is:

"He must become greater;
I must become less."

John 3:30 NIV
