John 16:33
King James Version
33 These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer;
I have overcome the world.
Why do we fight it so much?
Why do we resist the invitation from the LORD?
Why do we mock the things of God?
Why do we follow those who only wish our ruin?
Why can't we see the LIGHT of CHRIST?
Why can't we accept His Divine Lordship?
Why do we think the world has the answers for the questions we have?
What would it take for us to finally believe the teachings of JESUS?
What would it take for us to offer our lives to the LORD, when He laid His own life so we may be saved?
What would it take for us to comprehend the greatest love and sacrifice ever, the day Jesus was nailed to the cross?
What would it take for us to call upon the name of JESUS and to cover ourselves with the Sacred Blood of the Sacrificed Lamb, in order to fight the evil in this world?
Have we any idea how blessed we all are?
How loved we all are?
God knew the hearts of men, and yet, the CREATOR never gave up on us.
On and on, He sent His prophets, and then finally, His SON.
Jesus knew the hearts of men, too, and yet He believed we were worthy of His Life.
If we accept the gift, we can be guided by the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD at all times, so we may see all these.
It is only by the GRACE of God we are all still around, managing, living, thriving, surviving in this oftentimes cruel world -- a world we sometimes have allowed to be cruel.
But our salvation lies in JESUS alone.
May we be born of water and the Spirit, as born-again Christians, so we may be able to fully comprehend the sacrifice of the LORD, and the peace He offers us.
It is the only way to see the kingdom of God.
And yes, there is only one real life that matters, and that is ETERNAL life with the LORD.
Our hopes lie in Jesus alone.
