Drinking the Cup of the LORD

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

1 Corinthians 10:21 (King James Version)

That verse was shared by David Wilkerson, the fiery minister who doesn't mince words about the enemies of Christ.

He wonders why we consort with the devil, when:

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 3:16 (KJV)

Further:

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV)

It is wonderful listening to this passionate minister, who loves Jesus so.

Rare is such a minister who moves people, with his love for Christ.

He may have passed on in 2011, but his spirit and teaching legacy lives on, and I am fortunate to have encountered his powerful videos, such as the one below, which I believe, I will listen to, again, and again:

I remember having read his book, "The Cross and the Switchblade" back in high school.

If your heart is true with Jesus, you will welcome this fiery minister's sermons, which cut to the heart of the matter about loving, and serving Christ alone.

His unwavering voice is what the world needs right now, for we are being caught up in the spirit of the antichrist.

People may be unaware, or they may be in denial, but David Wilkerson isn't.

Through Scripture, he is fully aware of the wiles of the devil, and how we could easily be destroyed, if our hearts aren't set on Christ, and Christ alone.

The fiery pastor suggests we pay particular attention to these three verses of Psalm 125:

125 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

Psalm 125:1-3 (KJV)

If you want your heart and resolve to be awakened to the worship of God and the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, you must view his videos, listen to that resounding voice, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
