Bible Passages Most Often Ignored or Disobeyed

It's quite difficult being human and not remember our divinity.

We are often subject to the forces within ourselves and outside ourselves where a real "battle" is going on.

The moment you profess your love for Christ, you can expect such challenges, distractions, and distortions to quadruple for your soul is sought by those not of God.

I often pray for the gift of "discernment" -- to be able to differentiate that which is of God and that which is not.

Thank God, I have a Bible teacher-friend who shared his thoughts below as he spoke of the Bible Truths and Passages frequently ignored or disobeyed:

There’s only one purpose why Jesus, the God-Man, put aside his divinity in order to be the ultimate sacrifice to die and pay for our sins. He was the only one qualified because He was the only one sinless!

For the Son of Man came to seek
and to save the lost.”

Luke 19:10 NIV

As God’s children, we must work as collaborators to this primary mission of Jesus. This is achieved by sharing the Gospel that others may be Saved also.

Jesus is the only way to God, no exceptions!

Jesus answered,
‘I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
If you really know me,
you will know my Father as well.
From now on,
you do know him and have seen him.’”

John 14:6-7 NIV

For there is one God
and one mediator between God and mankind,
the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all people.
This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.”

1 Timothy 2:5-6 NIV

These truths or passages are the most frequently ignored or disobeyed.

For many, God’s Word is not enough and they formulate man-made dogmas and traditions.

What do people not understand with the phrase, “except through me”, and “one mediator between God and mankind”? That’s how man made religions are, they make their own “rules” and traditions in order to overrule God’s commands!

Spiritual pride is not submitting to God and His commands. That’s arrogance and disobedience. They give all kinds of excuses and faulty reasoning that may not only be unbiblical but anti biblical.

He must become greater;
I must become less.”
The one who comes from above is above all;
the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth,
and speaks as one from the earth.
The one who comes from heaven is above all.”

John 3:30-31 NIV
