The Most Intriguing Words of Jesus For Me

Matthew 24:39-42
King James Version
39 And knew not until the flood came,
and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field;
the one shall be taken,
 and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
42 Watch therefore:
for ye know not
what hour your Lord doth come.

As a baby Christian, I found the above verses the most intriguing of all of Jesus' words.

Because JESUS' words seemed urgent, and imminent.

As if everything -- what was to come after -- hinged on this FIRST occurrence (what theologians call the "Rapture"), for by then, all who will be left behind will go through the horrible seven-year Tribulation.

And thus, there is no time to waste.

We must repent, if we wish to be taken up to Jesus, and avoid that Tribulation.

Matthew 4:17
King James Version
17 From that time
Jesus began to preach,
and to say,
Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven
is at hand.

The significance of JESUS' words probably hasn't sunk in yet for many people.

Imagine this:

You are cooking food for your family, then all of a sudden, one, or two of you, disappear -- just like that.

Or, you're driving a vehicle, or piloting a plane, and people -- either driver or passenger -- start disappearing.

Or, you're holding your baby, and suddenly, your baby disappears.

Can you imagine the scenario in hospitals, or air traffic control towers?

Or even just on the highways.

There have been books and movies made of this scenario.

It is not just a possible scenario.

It is the scenario Jesus said so Himself:

"the one shall be taken,
and the other left"

No one knows the hour of His Coming.

No one knows who will be taken, and who will be left, except GOD.

So, what makes us think that all the wealth we accumulate now, would ever matter?

What makes us think that worldly bickerings matter at all?

It is foolish to hoard, or to be selfish.

It is foolish to be angry, or to be vengeful.

It is foolish to have the world at your feet, and have everyone adore you.

It is foolish to keep sinning.

At any given moment -- in the twinkling of an eye -- each one of us can be gone.

Somehow, I can't even look farther than that moment of Jesus' prophecy.

The fact that one of us would disappear -- at God's choosing -- is truly an eye-opener for me.

Jesus had many warnings of things to come, but many people are asleep, addicted to the things of the world.

We already know who keeps us asleep at the wheel.

We already know who wants us unprepared, for when Christ comes for us.

These dark forces have been mocking Bible prophecy since time immemorial.

People don't light the lamps of their hearts anymore, and are distracted by things of the world.

But, what if, at that exact moment, someone you love or care for, is taken up to Christ?

Surely, you can imagine the chaos, grief, and disaster that would ensue when people are busy at work or at home, and suddenly, God says, "It's time!", and the trumpet is sounded:

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version
16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

That is the prophecy.

We have this moment, this hour, this minute, to start paying attention.

Here's what we can do right now:

Study God's Word.
Let Jesus be our guide.

Focus not on how the world is progressing, for in truth, it is regressing.

Salvation is a personal matter, between you and God alone.

You must care enough about your soul, wanting to be with God for eternity.

If you care about others, you'd want them to be with God, too.

It's really very simple, and humbling.

Romans 3:23
King James Version
23 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;

How many acknowledge their sinfulness, and care to truly repent?

Is this finite life more delightful, than eternal life promised by Christ?

John 3:16
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

Whatever little, puny power, possessions, or prestige we have, matters not in the kingdom of God.

All that matters is if we have accepted Christ in our hearts, by becoming born again.

Its the only way to understand the Gospel of Jesus, for the Holy SPIRIT of God will start instructing us.

In this season of the end times, stay CLOSEST to JESUS.

There is no other HOPE, but JESUS.

Titus 2:13
King James Version
13 Looking for that blessed hope,
and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ;

Nothing matters but CHRIST now.

John MacArthur's "Blueprint for Being Born Again"

3 Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again,
he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him,
How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,
and be born?
5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:3-8
King James Version

Those are Jesus' very own words about what we need to see the kingdom of God.

Spirit also led me to the wonderful John MacArthur video above, on what it means to be a born again Christian.

Finally, you get to know what it means to be one, how you are transformed from thereon, and the points of focus if you are to really love and worship God.

All of Jesus' ministry has always focused on our loving His Father.

I created this blog purposely to document my own findings and path, and the many treasures I discovered along the way.

As John MacArthur says:

"Profession, without possession."

Listen to the video as pastor MacArthur explains things in his usual, clear, and unapologetic manner.

When you live by Scripture, you will be happily transformed, sitting at Jesus' feet, listening to Him with all your heart and being, absorbing all of His teachings, and eager to do His Will alone.

No other path can be more beautiful.

I don't know about you but it was my time to become born again on 6 September 2019. All my life had been preparation for that moment.

After which, I ended one blog, and created the one you're reading now.

God also led me to read the Bible -- His Book.

From which, I took down notes, and have many notebooks and index cards of my findings, which eventually led to my writing short fiction books on 24 November 2019.

It became my foundation for my books and all my thoughts and work now.

My 22 books on spiritual warfare -- written in a remarkable, intensive period of 36 days -- can all be now found on Amazon.

I don't know how I did it, I merely did it -- as prompted by the Holy Spirit each day.

That's what being born again did to me.

If you choose to serve God, He will work with you in a way He had originally designed.

May you seek God with all your heart, too, and let Him shower you with His Grace.

In this season of the end times, it is time to re-connect with God in a way He had always wanted to.

By ourselves we know nothing.

Only God makes us something.

There is Only One FATHER

8 But be not ye called Rabbi:
for one is your Master,
even Christ;
and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master,
even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Matthew 23:8-12
King James Version

Those were JESUS' very own words about how the scribes and Pharisees were such hypocrites, and now, their kind lives on -- forever distorting the TRUTH of God and His beloved SON.

Everything's really so devious, and unless you really study the Bible, and commit it to heart, you lose the essence of it, subject to the distortions of modern-day world.

We call the pope, "Father"; worse yet, we call him "Holy Father", a title only reserved to God, the one, true FATHER.

They also call the pope, "Vicar".

Won't these abominations to God ever stop?

How can priests, supposedly students of theology when they were seminarians, have allowed this untruth to be continuously fed, accepted, and propagated?

How can people even kiss the ring of the pope, when Christ Himself washed his apostles' feet?

How deluded we have been in the Roman Catholic tradition.

How the dark forces have come upon man and distorted his thinking for so long.

It is time God's SCRIPTURE be our ONLY reference for TRUTH.

We have erred so much about Jesus, even as He had clearly instructed us during His brief ministry.

I've purposely written those 22 books on spiritual warfare because people are not aware who is ruler of earth, and of how this fallen angel has corrupted us all.

Now that I've been reading the Bible, and getting to know CHRIST's own Words, I am appalled at the many distortions against His SPIRIT.

It is not surprising, for the world is not of God.

"Be sober,
be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion,
walketh about,
seeking whom he may devour:"

1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)

There was nothing pompous about Jesus.

He lived simply, but taught firmly.

And He always asked that we worship His FATHER alone.

That's why Jesus knew that His TRUTH will divide homes and families.

"The father shall be divided against the son,
and the son against the father;
the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

Luke 12:53 (KJV)

It's 2020 now.

It's time to wake up, before it's too late.

JESUS said the unpardonable sin is against the Holy SPIRIT -- the teacher of all things.

"Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy
shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
shall not be forgiven unto men."

Matthew 12:31 (KJV)

It is time to read Scripture and get things right in our heart.

I've been a born-again Christian for nearly four months now, and my life, work, and thinking have completely changed, all because of the Bible -- how beautiful and exact this BOOK of GOD is.

I had searched for this truth all my life, and by the GRACE of GOD, I've finally found it.

It is not by good works we shall be saved.

It is only by grace, through faith, and by GOD alone.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

How God hates idolatry.

Humans have idolized many gods, humans, and graven images.

It is time we worshiped GOD, the Creator, alone.

2 I am the Lord thy God,
which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them,
nor serve them:
for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation
of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands
of them that love me,
and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:2-6 (KJV)

All who love God, please take heed.

Holy Spirit-Inspired Fiction

I had no idea I could write short story fiction before, but I found I could, mid-November, following a lead about a site for short stories.

I called my character SCRIBU, short for "Scripture-Based Understanding", for all my writing since 6 September 2019 are all based on the Bible, the WORD of GOD.

Where before, I had many references for my research, now, I only refer to the BIBLE, for it is the BOOK of GOD's TRUTH.

All my fiction books have the following main characters:

SCRIBU, the Dream Warrior, dreams,
SKAL, the Chief Demon, schemes,
STONE, the Chief Warrior Angel, protects, and
The SON, the Word of God, saves.

If you had been reading the BIBLE, you'd know that demons are real, as shown by JESUS many times when he healed the sick.

32 And at even,
when the sun did set,
they brought unto him all that were diseased,
and them that were possessed with devils.
33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.
34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases,
and cast out many devils;
and suffered not the devils to speak,
because they knew him.

Mark 1:32-34
King James Version

On 25 November 2019, I created my first story -- "ARMAGEDDREAMS", and the amazing thing is that in just 24 days, I had written 17 books for the SCRIBU Series on spiritual warfare.

I know I write fast, but this was phenomenal.

But ought I be surprised?

The Holy SPIRIT inspired me, every step of the way.

Click the 17 titles below and read a sample chapter if you wish:

Book 1, ARMAGEDDREAMS –12 ways the sleeping world will perish.

Book 2, SCRIBU –Scribu, the Dream Warrior, in the constant battle of God and evil.

Book 3, THE ANCIENT BLACK BOOK – Scribu discovers the forbidden book by accident.

Book 4, THE ALABASTER ANGEL –The darkness has spread alarmingly in the world.

Book 5, RECONCILIATION –Scribu chooses God, and gets a surprise.

Book 6, THE JEALOUS GOD –God abhors idolatry; Scribu tells you more.

Book 7, THE HIDDEN GIFTS – Scribu’s gifts just won’t stop. A curse or a blessing?

Book 8, SCRIBE TO SPIRIT –Scribu discovers her true gift and destiny.

Book 9, THE BABY CHRISTIAN   –Scribu avoids the devil’s snare.

Book 10, THE DESTROYER’S DEVICES – The many ways Skal traps man.

Book 11, SCRIBU GETS GOD RIGHT – On getting God right, through Scripture.

Book 12, IMPERVIOUS TO EVIL – The life of 6-year-old Scribu, the Dream Warrior.

Book 13, THE PHLEGM FACTORY – Can a common cold destroy humanity?

Book 14, DEATH OF SELF-IMPORTANCE – Does self matter so much?

Book 15, MASSIVE MONEY MACHINE – Money has become god in the world.

Book 16, SNUFFING THE SPIRIT – Young Scribu becomes a threat and must be destroyed.

Book 17, ENEMIES OF THE WORD – Scribu exposes four enemies of God.

I enjoyed designing the book covers, using Amazon publishing tools, but on two distinct instances, I was taken aback at how the cover seemed to have "chosen" itself.

Like, I was viewing some possible images, not really having decided on a cover yet, lo and behold, the image was "chosen" for me.

I'm featuring the cover of the 17th book above which SPIRIT chose last night, to my great amazement. True enough, it was the best depiction of the story the Holy SPIRIT and I had just created.

Working with SPIRIT since September has been filled with many beautiful surprises, foremost of which is a greater understanding of JESUS and the BIBLE.

Jesus did say before He left us:

"But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 14:26 (KJV)

Now, all my writing is SCRIPTURE-based, factual, and real.

What Happened to the 12 Tribes of Israel?

What are the 12 tribes of Israel?

Where did they go?

What became of them?

In which countries and cultures were they incorporated?

The video will answer the interesting questions, showing you possible places, cultures, and museums which may put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Another interesting resource is a "quick, illustrated guide" on the 12 tribes of Israel.

It's time to know more about Israel, through the Bible.

GOD's story.

Two New Books on Amazon

Strange things happen.

I had no idea I could write fiction.

For the longest time, I'd been writing non-fiction and essays.

Lo and behold, God's Light shone upon my writer's heart and said, "It's time!"

Nah, I made that up.

But God did shine His Light upon my writer's heart and got me to write two short fiction books, which at first I put on a public platform.

But God knew better.

So, the Holy Spirit gave me this idea yesterday of publishing it on Amazon, for I do have an author's page there from previous ebooks I've written years back.

But when Spirit activates you, boy, you've got to be ready!

So, anyway, the cover you see up there is "ARMAGEDDREAMS" and it's now LIVE on Amazon!

Another book, written within the same day (I know, weird) is "SCRIBU", also LIVE on Amazon.

It seems, Spirit's driving me to write a series of books, for I feel it in my bones and in my heart.

To let you in on a secret?

I've just finished writing the 3rd book in this series, just moments ago, and I expect it to be LIVE on Amazon, tomorrow or so.

Of course, will let you know as soon as it is.

By the way, I also created a new blog for my SCRIBU books which you may view here.

Please welcome into your heart my short fiction books.

This will take my end times and spiritual warfare studies to the next level, and to yours, too!

(NOTE: All books are for General Patronage, so that means all people, of all ages, can safely read my books.)

What the Word of God Means to Me As a Writer

Gone is the speed.

There is more thought now.

Better care.

Openness for correction.

Even greater responsibility.

But more zeal, thirst, and love.

And it's all for JESUS.

That's how my life has changed since GOD made me born again on 6 September 2019.

As a writer and lecturer, I deal with words.

But why must I exercise greater care with thoughts and words more than ever?

Because words, written or spoken, have power.

Matthew 12:36-37
King James Version
36 But I say unto you,
That every idle word that men shall speak,
they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

A writer with Christ in her heart, must really take more love and care in the choice of thoughts and words.

Words can either be a blessing or a curse:

James 3:10
King James Version
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth
blessing and cursing.
My brethren,
these things ought not so to be.

Ideally, all my words will have come from the HOLY SPIRIT alone, the One Jesus asked His Father to help us:

John 14:16-17
King James Version
16 And I will pray the Father,
and he shall give you another Comforter,
that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive,
because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him:
but ye know him;
for he dwelleth with you,
and shall be in you.

When you become a true believer and follower of Christ, everything changes.

You change, your life changes, your work changes, your manner changes, you are simply a changed person.

You only profess and reflect all things Jesus in every aspect of your life, work, word, and deed.

You become a true follower of Jesus, believing that He is the SON of GOD, sent by the Father, and have come to save the world:

1 John 4:14
King James Version
14 And we have seen and do testify
that the Father sent the Son
to be the Saviour of the world.

And maybe the verse below applies to those of us who are renewed in spirit, with new work to do:

Mark 2:22
King James Version
22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles:
else the new wine doth burst the bottles,
and the wine is spilled,
and the bottles will be marred:
but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Only God is Good

I celebrate my two months as a baby Christian today, the 6th of November 2019.

In that time, I've started really reading the Bible and studying it, taking down notes which have filled three notebooks and used three ballpens already.

And that's only from having read Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, part of Numbers, and the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and nearly done with John.

It is no boast, my dear readers.

If the Bible has 66 books and I've only read not even eight, that means I have 58 more books to read.

Long way to go.

It is hard work for I aim to get things accurately about God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Salvation, Eternal Life, and Bible Prophecy.

I am not a theologian.

I'm just a quiet and independent writer and researcher who has embraced Christ in full as a two-month-old born-again Christian.

I also love God with all my heart and thirst for Jesus' Words.

The Bible has so many beautiful verses from God, Christ, the prophets, and the apostles, but somehow, ONE particular verse really puts things in perspective for me, my life, and my work, and here it is:

18 And Jesus said unto him,
Why callest thou me good?
there is none good but one,
that is, God.

Mark 10:18
King James Version

In so very few words, Jesus reveals His own humility, even as John the Baptist, His beloved cousin and precursor, had this to say about our Savior:

27 He it is,
who coming after me is preferred before me,
whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

John 1:27 KJV

God knows the heart of man. After the Flood, God has this to say about man:

21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour;
and the Lord said in his heart,
I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake;
for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth;
neither will I again smite any more every thing living,
as I have done.

Genesis 8:21 KJV

Very humbling, isn't it?

But if you can accept our true nature, then you know we all need to be corrected, and that's why we must look to Jesus as our Savior.

If you cannot accept it, then the world is still too much in you.

And you know who rules the world, right?

Check this previous post in case you're not aware.

But all is not lost.

The Bible says that Jesus is the Way to God:

6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth,
and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.

John 14:6 KJV

If you really aim to know Christ, you must lose that ego.

Only Jesus must remain.

Remember this, then:

30 He must increase,
but I must decrease.

John 3:30 KJV
