The New Jerusalem of God

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city,
new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them,
and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them,
and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold,
I make all things new.
And he said unto me,
Write:
for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:1-5
King James Version

Do you long for God's GLORY?

Do you wish for eternal beauty, peace, love, and joy?

Read how beautiful and magnificent the New Jerusalem -- the City of God -- would be:

10 And he carried me away in the spirit
to a great and high mountain,
and shewed me that great city,
the holy Jerusalem,
descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God:
and her light was like unto a stone most precious,
even like a jasper stone,
clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high,
and had twelve gates,
and at the gates twelve angels,
and names written thereon,
which are the names
of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates;
on the north three gates;
on the south three gates;
and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations,
and in them the names
of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me
had a golden reed to measure the city,
and the gates thereof,
and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare,
and the length is as large as the breadth:
and he measured the city with the reed,
twelve thousand furlongs.
The length and the breadth
and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof,
an hundred and forty and four cubits,
according to the measure of a man,
that is,
of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper:
and the city was pure gold,
like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city
were garnished with all manner of precious stones.
The first foundation was jasper;
the second, sapphire;
the third, a chalcedony;
the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx;
the sixth, sardius;
the seventh, chrysolyte;
the eighth, beryl;
the ninth, a topaz;
the tenth, a chrysoprasus;
the eleventh, a jacinth;
the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls:
every several gate was of one pearl:
and the street of the city was pure gold,
as it were transparent glass.

Revelation 21:10-21 (KJV)

Most importantly, the New Jerusalem, will have no need for a temple, nor the sun, and the moon:

22 And I saw no temple therein:
for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb
are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun,
neither of the moon,
to shine in it:
for the glory of God did lighten it,
and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Revelation 21:22-23 (KJV)

There shall be no more curse.

Everything will be made pure with the water of life, and the tree of life.

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life,
clear as crystal,
proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it,
and on either side of the river,
was there the tree of life,
which bare twelve manner of fruits,
and yielded her fruit every month:
 and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse:
but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it;
and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face;
and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there;
and they need no candle,
neither light of the sun;
for the Lord God giveth them light:
and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 22:1-5 (KJV)

Serve no one but the LORD, and you will have a place in that City, when Christ returns for His people!

If this world makes you weary, remember that our only HOPE is in JESUS!

4 In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)

The LORD JESUS Calls Us to REPENTANCE

Mark 1:14-15
King James Version

14 Now after that John was put in prison,
Jesus came into Galilee,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying,
The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye,
and believe the gospel.

The LORD Jesus was very clear about what we must do.

REPENT.

Matthew 4:17
King James Version
17 From that time
Jesus began to preach,
and to say
Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven
is at hand.

Previously, John the Baptist, the Lord's cousin, was tasked to prepare the way for the LORD, as prophesied:

Matthew 3:1-3
King James Version
1 In those days came John the Baptist,
preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying
Repent ye:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of
by the prophet Esaias, saying,
The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight.

John spoke of how the "generation of vipers" would meet their fate:

Matthew 3:7-10
King James Version
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees
and Sadducees come to his baptism,
he said unto them
O generation of vipers,
who hath warned you to flee
from the wrath to come?
8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
9 And think not to say within yourselves,
We have Abraham to our father:
for I say unto you,
that God is able of these stones
to raise up children unto Abraham.
10 And now also the axe is laid
unto the root of the trees:
therefore every tree
which bringeth not forth good fruit
is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

And beautifully, John spoke of Jesus, in the most reverent way:

Matthew 3:11
King James Version
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance.
but he that cometh after me is mightier than I,
whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost,
and with fire:

From which Jesus will separate the "wheat", from the "chaff":

Matthew 3:12
King James Version
12 Whose fan is in his hand,
and he will throughly purge his floor,
and gather his wheat into the garner;
but he will burn up the chaff
with unquenchable fire.

Jesus came into this world, for a very clear purpose:

Luke 5:32
King James Version
32 I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.

He spoke of how heaven rejoices at one sinner who repents:

Luke 15:7
King James Version
7 I say unto you,
that likewise joy shall be in heaven
over one sinner that repenteth,
more than over ninety and nine just persons,
which need no repentance.

That's what Jesus came here for, to save us from our sins, to show us the way to repentance, to teach us to love God, the FATHER and CREATOR, and to love each other.

He was here to fulfill God's Laws:

Matthew 5:17
King James Version
17 Think not that I am come
to destroy the law, or the prophets:
I am not come to destroy,
but to fulfil.

What was the Law, but this:

Matthew 5:18-20
King James Version
18 For verily I say unto you,
Till heaven and earth pass,
one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break
one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so,
he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
but whosoever shall do and teach them,
the same shall be called great
in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you,
That except your righteousness shall exceed
the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees,
ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The Laws were the 10 Commandments.

We were taught all that when we were kids, but obviously many of us have forgotten, or didn't really understand what God was asking of us.

But it is not too late.

We have today, right this moment, to get right with the LORD.

He left us the HOLY SPIRIT to teach us ALL things, to remember ALL His Words.

We were left with REAL, divine help.

Jesus is merely reminding us of the desire of the FATHER:

Ezekiel 18:32
King James Version
32 For I have no pleasure
in the death of him that dieth,
saith the Lord God:
wherefore turn yourselves,
and live ye.

It has always been about repentance, for all of us -- the proud, the ignorant, the uncaring, the cruel, the corrupted.

As Bible prophecy student, it is my duty to turn to Jesus' words, to sift through the Bible, and share with you the relevant verses for our difficult times.

Only the WORD of GOD -- JESUS -- can give us real comfort, and instruction, now.

I am grateful that Jesus had looked kindly upon my soul, and saw fit to save it, for the world as we know it, is no more.

The diabolical schemes have taken on steam, but there is no reason to be afraid.

But you must drop everything you're doing now, that is not of GOD.

In your heart, you know what those things are.

We must not test Jesus, even as He loves us all.

Let Him tell you in His own words:

Revelation 3:19
King James Version
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
be zealous therefore, and repent.

There is no going around it.

We must all turn back to the LORD, and repent, abandoning our evil ways.

If our hearts are true, and we wish change upon ourselves, and the world, we must seek JESUS with all our heart, and let The SPIRIT of GOD -- the Holy Spirit -- trigger awakening upon our souls.

We are so loved He gave up His life for us thousands of years ago.

But this time, He will wage war:

Revelation 19:11-16
King James Version
11 And I saw heaven opened,
and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire,
and on his head were many crowns;
and he had a name written,
that no man knew,
but he himself.
13 And he was clothed
with a vesture dipped in blood:
and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven
followed him upon white horses,
clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword,
that with it he should smite the nations:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
and he treadeth the winepress
of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh
a name written,
King Of Kings,
And Lord Of Lords.

Will you be there behind Him, and with Him?

Other important verses we must read are Psalm 91, and John 3, to help secure our salvation in these difficult times.

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven

18 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus,
saying,
Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him,
and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said,
Verily I say unto you,
Except ye be converted,
and become as little children,
ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself
as this little child,
the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive
one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones
which believe in me,
it were better for him
that a millstone were hanged about his neck,
and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 18:1-6
King James Version

You can see how far we've veered from Jesus' teachings.

How we have neglected many children of the world, allowing hunger, poverty, violence, abandonment, abuse, to come into their lives.

Where other children are spoiled and pampered, there are many more children suffering elsewhere.

All this is happening because we don't have child-like hearts anymore.

We have become adult-erated.

We need to get "aerated" by the Holy Spirit of God, once more.

We need to remember the LORD's teachings about being pure, humble, and undefiled, having the heart of children, who are closest to His heart.

A humble heart won't put himself above everyone.

Sure, kids get into fight, too, bickering over their toys, or getting jealous of parent's or friend's attention, but they don't carry grudges.

There is no such consciousness in the child.

There is only a love for play, for learning, for food, for sleep, forever curious, and seeking love from his family.

Can you imagine how many children in the world don't have enough to eat, have clean clothes on their back, have a home to keep them warm, have the love, peace, and security that others kids may have?

And what of orphans, or child workers?

Who looks after them?

I had a wonderful opportunity once, many years ago, when a dear lady, a wife of a former Austrian ambassador to the Philippines, invited me to visit her "village".

So, we took the plane, and went south.

It was my first experience with orphans in a lovely tropical village.

How the foreign organization took care of them so!

The kids were clean, looked happy and content, and eager for visitors.

I had photographs with them, and when we left, they gave me souvenirs of their own form of art, like drawings, and bookmarkers.

It's always a good experience for anyone to visit orphans.

We can feel their hunger for love.

Being child-like myself, I've always had close affinity with children.

We all seem to understand each other.

We adults must care for them, making sure they are not corrupted by the world.

We're not here to spoil them; we're here to love them, not one more than the other.

Love must be given as God would -- equally.

Perhaps, our duties as adults, is to make sure they are given an opportunity to develop their own talents, to have a loving home to live in, and education they desire.

We're here to feed them nutritious food, not junk food.

We're here to give them real toys, not addicting gadgets.

We're here to give them the education they desire, not what we desire.

We're here as temporary parents for them, looking after their welfare, safety, and security.

But all these can only come from an adult heart, with the heart of a child -- humble, loving, and totally obedient to the LORD.

That will surely give our kids a chance to be safe, nourished, and loved, without drama or excess.

It's really an ideal to love, as GOD would.

What could be a nobler way to live, think, and work?

Remember this story about Jesus?

15 And they brought unto him also infants,
that he would touch them:
but when his disciples saw it,
they rebuked them.
16 But Jesus called them unto him,
and said,
Suffer little children to come unto me,
and forbid them not:
for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Verily I say unto you,
Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God
as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Luke 18:15-17 (KJV)

The Sanctification Process

1 John 1:9
King James Version

9 If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In my baby Christian heart, for it's just been nine months since I first really accepted and followed Jesus, I learned one striking thing:

The ego has gone.

No longer do I hold on to old thoughts, old ways, old habits, erroneous ways, but instead, wish to be corrected by the Bible, and the Holy Spirit -- every step of the way -- JESUS' Way.

Like an eager child, my heart sought God's Words alone.

As a Christian, you can expect many such corrections along the way.

Such as what I learned from Joseph, my Bible teacher, today.

I'll let him speak his wonderful piece here, about the necessary "sanctification process" for all of us:
--------------------------------------------------------------

Once we become born again, all our sins, past, present, future, are forgiven! In that sense, we are justified and positionally pure, sinless, in God’s sight because Jesus paid the price for all our sins by His death. He died in our place so we may live! Here’s one supporting verse:

Ephesians 2:1
King James Version

2 And you hath he quickened,
who were dead in trespasses and sins;

On another hand, practically or experientially, we cannot completely free ourselves of sin for the rest of our lives. It can be minimized but not completely eradicated. In other words, one cannot attain perfect obedience everyday for the rest of our lives. The best we can do with the help of the Holy Spirit is to live a life of sanctification, where we undergo spiritual growth or maturity day by day until we leave this earth. The sanctification process is achieved by walking in step with Jesus, through God’s Word  The degree of one’s sanctification will depend upon one’s rate of obedience to God’s Word.

For the rest of our lives as born again Christians, the challenge to stay away from sin will always be there. Paul himself had this challenge.

Romans 7:14-25
King James Version

14 For we know that the law is spiritual:
but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not:
for what I would, that do I not;
but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not,
I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it,
but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,)
dwelleth no good thing:
for to will is present with me;
but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not:
but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not,
it is no more I that do it,
but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law,
that, when I would do good,
evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God
after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members,
warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity
to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am!
who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God;
but with the flesh the law of sin.

Of course, Jesus is the solution and verse 25 deals with one’s sanctification process.

Unbelievers have only one nature, the sinful nature, mainly because they don’t believe in Jesus, the gospel, and God’s Word.

1 Corinthians 2:14
King James Version

14 But the natural man
receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.

Born again Christians have two natures, the sinful nature remains but we are now given a divine nature. Because the sinful nature remains, we can still sin, but now that the divine nature is there, we have the ability to defeat sin. This battle between these two natures remains! As Christians we must do our best to put to death our sinful nature during our lifetime.

Note that these verses were addressed to the Colossians, a body of believers, a church. (Not to unbelievers.)

Colossians 3:2-10
King James Version

2 Set your affection on things above,
not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead,
and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ,
who is our life, shall appear,
then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members
which are upon the earth;
fornication,
uncleanness,
inordinate affection,
evil concupiscence,
and covetousness,
which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God
cometh on the children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time,
when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these;
anger,
wrath,
malice,
blasphemy,
filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another,
seeing that ye have put off the old man
with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man,
which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him:

Note verse 5, the existence of an earthly or sinful nature.

Colossians 3:5
King James Version

5 Mortify therefore your members
which are upon the earth;
fornication,
uncleanness,
inordinate affection,
evil concupiscence,
and covetousness,
which is idolatry:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

True born-again Christians won't take it personally, being called sinners, for we all are.

Finally, we have a "name" to our "disease".

JESUS did say:

John 8:7
King James Version

7 So when they continued asking him,
he lifted up himself,
and said unto them,
He that is without sin among you,
let him first cast a stone at her.

The moment Eve took a bite of that fuirt, sin was upon us all.

We merely need to open our hearts for correction, and live a life of sanctification.

In Joseph's words: "where we undergo spiritual growth or maturity day by day until we leave this earth".

We really have all help going for us.

In His mercy, GOD gave us Jesus to die for our sins, and as Joseph had said, "so we may live!"

This much I can tell you about my own experience.

The moment I feel that my thoughts stray from the LORD, I pray right away, in my own simple, direct, child-like way.

And you know what?

My course, my path, my thinking, is righted IMMEDIATELY!

You can really feel the power of Jesus that way.

And, of course, JESUS asks that we sin no more.

John 8:11
King James Version

11 She said,
No man, Lord.
And Jesus said unto her,
Neither do I condemn thee:
go, and sin no more.

When the World Doesn't Seem to Make Sense

Philippians 4:7
King James Version
7 And the peace of God,
which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds
through Christ Jesus.

When the world doesn't seem to make sense, your only refuge is Christ.

There is no other Steady Anchor you can rely on.

The world, with all its many confusing voices and hidden agenda, will sway you this way, and that way, the idea being you become lost.

That is the intention of the deceiver.

But seek Christ, and you will find peace.

Christ gave us the Holy Spirit, the Teacher of All Things, to help us remember and so we can follow the path of Christ.

We are in a battle with the unseen:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities,
against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

Precisely why Christ instructed:

5 Jesus answered,
Verily, verily,
I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,
Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

John 3:5-8 (KJV)

If you continue to follow the ways of the flesh, you will surely perish, with the way the world has been set up by the deceiver and his many followers.

You must become born of the SPIRIT.

Follow Christ, become a born-again Christian, and you will be instructed by the Holy Spirit each day, each moment, as He has been instructing me since I first embraced Christ as a simple, independent follower.

Even churches have been hit hard now.

And that is for God's divine purpose, of which I have an inkling about.

A case of "the wheat is being separated from the chaff".

Where before, you can gather in a church, in a congregation, and praise God, now, you can't.

There is the quarantine, the chaos, and the many unknowns facing you on the streets and everywhere you may go.

It's like the devils are on a rampage, seeking souls to ruin, using whatever darkness we have in our hearts.

I have always been independent in my studies, and in my faith, purposely.

I needed to find God on my own, not parroting the beliefs of others.

You see, this relationship you have with God, is a PERSONAL relationship, so build it with Him, just you and God.

He will answer your prayers.

You only have to open your heart, and approach God, as the FATHER That He Is.

That's how I've always approached God.

That's how Jesus wants us to see his FATHER.

We are all like foolish, stubborn, willful children who prefer the darkness, over the light.

Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, will instruct us how to reconcile with God all over again.

I know I prayed hard, and long, asking for GOD's TRUTH alone.

I could not take man's word for it.

I needed God's WORD.

Nearly nine months ago, God finally sent the Holy Spirit to instruct me, and my life has shifted 180 degrees, and I merely keep going forward with the LORD each day.

I created this blog you're reading now, to teach myself, to remind myself, and to share with you my Scripture-based understanding, what I call my SCRIBU -- thus, the 24 books I wrote after becoming a born-again Christian.

Jesus left us with the Holy Spirit, so we will not be orphaned.

"But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things,
and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 14:26 (KJV)

These are the things that will help you navigate the tricky, mine-filled world that belongs to the deceiver, and that's why I ask you stay CLOSEST to Christ.

"Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth,
and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me."

John 14:6 (KJV)

Find comfort in Jesus' WORDS alone.

You can only be saved, through JESUS.

Whoever tells you differently, is the antichrist, and there will be many. as the apostle John says here:

"Little children,
it is the last time:
and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists;
whereby we know that it is the last time."

1 John 2:18 (KJV)

Find comfort in the LORD, for He is the source of ALL peace, salvation, and security.

There is no other SOURCE of all things God, but Jesus.
